4.7 liters, borrowed from Ferrari, and wrapped in one of the most beautiful bodies produced in the past 15 years (about the age of the chassis lol):
OR
A track beast with over 500 American
thoroughbreds
under the hood?
Both are coupes that sound amazing but are built for very different purposes. W hat flavor do you prefer, Espresso or Americano?

Mustang, hands down.

Maser with the Americano in a British coffee cup!

I’d take the Italian for its looks alone. That Mustang just looks fat in comparison.
Both are plenty fast to get in trouble with. Day to day use , I think the Maserati would feel more special .

Gt350

Listen to this
you know the answer

I thought Maseratis usually got a bit of a watered down Ferrari engines and that meant wet sump and traditional cross plane crank. Am I wrong?

Definitely mustang, great sounds, cheaper to fix and mod... Reliability factor.
![]() 01/04/2019 at 13:12 |

the mustang, it blends in into the sea of other regular mustangs........

...that you want to murder innocent civilians just out walking? Or watching cars and drinking coffee?

gt350, because it will last out of warranty.

Yes. And sound glorious while doing so.

I think you’re right. I had heard that rumor too

I prefer espresso, unless I’m hungover, then I prefer americano.
I sustain that Americano should only be drank by beat up people.
On the cars, hands down the mustang. I’d prefer a Truck over the maserati

Mustang. Maserati does nothing for me.

I am a fan of Maserati, but that GT350 engine is one of the best engines ever produced IMO.

I’ve heard and love both. Personally though, I like the GT slightly better. It sounds musical while the 350 sounds brutal.
![]() 01/04/2019 at 13:44 |

Shit, you are right. I did not know that. I just assumed your couldn’t make that sound with a cross plane.

I looked upon the all mighty wiki and found out I was wrong. Oh well, it still sounds glorious
haha

I like both cars equally for very different applications. If I wanted to arrive at my destination or pick up a date. Maser hands down. If I wanted to take the fun way to my destination, the GT350.
![]() 01/04/2019 at 13:50 |

I’ve never had an Americano but I do love the GT350. But I also love the Maser. It just has presence, even in LA. And the sound is like an Italian orchestra serenading your ears. I’d like to have both. One to drive and the other to arrive .
![]() 01/04/2019 at 13:50 |

100% in agreement
. I love both for very different reasons haha
![]() 01/04/2019 at 13:51 |

This is nice feature. I already have one car that does not blend in. It would be nice to just say, “I drive a mustang” and be done with the conversation haha
![]() 01/04/2019 at 13:52 |

I like your style!

I’ve heard the GranTurismo is pretty reliable. But that can be be taken with a grain or two of Mediterranean sea salt. It might not be the best idea to have two Italian cars in the stable.
![]() 01/04/2019 at 13:55 |

I really like both, I would have to make a decision on what I wanted to use the car for before I could ever make up my mind. It’s just crazy these cars are the same (initial) price haha
![]() 01/04/2019 at 13:56 |

I spent some time researching Maserati coupes from the early 2000s and the Ferrari folks get pretty high and mighty about the differences.
You are right though; maseratis sound amazing.
As to your original question ; I’d probably go for the mustang. Although, I am very interested in the early Masi coupes that could be had with a manual.

I love the Mustang for the engineering that went into it. I love the Maserati for the design that went into it. That said, the Mustang looks good too.

I honestly like them both so much, I would have to decide on how I wanted to use the car before making a decision.

It’s a used Italian car, what could go wrong??? *sweating emoji*

Those are cool. From what I hear, most of the Coupe’s issues were due to the transmission so a 6 speed would be very cool. I did little to no research into this though haha.
I have a friend who has two GranSports and they have been mostly ok. Another guy DD’d one for like 70K miles and he said he never had a problem. He now drives a C7 so I don’t think he was biased in his opinion of the GS.
There are two types of Ferrari owners that I personally know. The type that absolutely hate Maserati because they all owned BiTurbos or the type that own/owned a GS or a GT and love the brand. It’s very funny when the two groups get together haha

Espresso

That particular GT has read leather too. It takes the right car to make white look not meh but Maserati has pulled it off. The interior is just bonus points haha
![]() 01/04/2019 at 14:44 |

I’ve heard both and the Maserati (even if it has a more regular motor) sounds a lot more special than the Mustang .... it sounds authentic, like the noise it makes wasn’t cheating you. but I’m gonna bet the mustang beats it pretty much everywhere else.
![]() 01/04/2019 at 14:53 |

I think the Maserati has it on style and sound (which I guess could be style as well). I was once eating dinner with a very, very attractive Dominican girl who cared nothing about cars. A very similar GT parked and she gushed over the car, going as far to say it was sex on wheels. I liked them before, but I liked them even more after that haha.

I just don't find the Maserati all that attractive these days.
![]() 01/04/2019 at 16:29 |

It’s long in the tooth, but like the Challenger/Charger, the little updates have somehow kept it relevant.

A girl I knew said my car had “BDE” whatever that is

Big Dick Energy. It’s the new thing kids are saying these days. Although I’ve never seen it as an acronym haha

I hope they have the granturismo figured out by now, considering how long its been out. I’d still put my money on the stang, the design is a decade newer. I wanted a mazz er hard when they first came out though.
![]() 01/04/2019 at 20:42 |

I liked them both when they came out, but the Maser’s release was a loooong time ago. If it came down to it, I would probably get the GT350 but might be a little bummed every time I saw the GT

Americano, with extra R.
